Flixtrain’s philosophy is the same as the Flixbus twin on wheels: connecting the cities of Europe at low-cost prices without sacrificing all the comforts of a first-class trip. On board the high-speed trains, always recognizable by the green color to represent sustainability since the trains are powered 100% by renewable energy, free Wi-Fi is available, extra space for the legs, USB sockets to connect the electronic devices and ample space for your luggage. Tickets start at just € 4.99 and your seat is guaranteed. Let’s see which are the routes covered at the moment.

In operation since 2018, Flixtrain’s service has continued to expand and now covers much of the German network and connects Sweden’s two major cities. In detail, there are 4 lines in Germany: Aachen-Leipzig with intermediate stops, among others, in Cologne and Berlin, Hamburg-Munich with stops in Cologne and Frankfurt, Berlin-Stuttgart and Hamburg-Leipzig-Berlin. In the Scandinavian state there is currently only one line, the FLX61, which connects Stockholm to Gothenburg passing Södertälje, Hallsberg, Skövde, Falköping.
By spring 2022, connections between Cologne and Munich will be reactivated, with intermediate stops in Bonn, Koblenz and Frankfurt and other cities along the way.
