We are in Wertheim, Germany, this is where one of the strangest places in the world is located.

At Toppels everything is upside down. The house rests on the tip of the roof, you enter through the second-floor window, and the ceiling is actually the floor.

The furniture and objects are arranged inside the house upside down, as if we were in front of a picture that we still have to straighten.

Entering this room can be difficult for the faint of heart, once you’re inside you won’t believe your eyes: why is there a sink on the ceiling?

Getting immortalized in a fun pose here is a must.

Visitors stay in the pose with their feet on the ground at all times, even if it feels like they’re walking on the ceiling, the result? A shot that will drive you crazy!

Toppels consists of several rooms, like a real house. There’s the bathroom with clothes thrown on the floor, the kitchen with freshly baked treats, and the kids’ room with toys scattered on the floor.

Needless to say, all the rooms and items inside are upside down.

Toppels is open every day from 9 am to 7 pm, even on holidays, and the entrance costs 4.50 euros, 3.50 for children aged 4 to 14.

This upside down house is not just an amusement park, however, it is a real bar, where you can have a snack or even a real lunch to recover from this experience out of the ordinary.
