It will beat Gardaland and even Disneyland Paris, it will in fact be the largest theme park in Europe. The project for the revaluation of an area near Naples was presented. We are located precisely in the area of the former Cementir quarry in Maddaloni, in the province of Caserta, and attractions of all kinds will appear here, from culture to tourism to entertainment. The park will be called Ludo & Felix and will occupy an area of 100 hectares.

The new theme park will be possible thanks to an investment of 400 million euros divided between private funds and the NRP. It will also be a great job opportunity for the area: in fact, around 3,500 people will be required in the park, 1,500 will be direct employees and the other 2,000 will be created by associated companies. It has been said how the park will be called Ludo & Felix, the name simply takes the name of the two areas that will make up the park: Ludo, the theme park on 40 hectares with attractions, and Felix, the cultural center of another 60 hectares.

The metropolitan area of Naples was the only one of the large Italian cities that did not have a theme park and in general a tourist-cultural accommodation facility. This is why the Ludo & Felix project in Maddaloni is long awaited by the city. Through this new theme park, it is hoped for the creation of a new tourism product that can attract people not only from Italy. The park will also be able to host international fairs and inside there will be a 1000-seat cinema. The peculiarity of Ludo & Felix will also be that it will be the only large theme park in the BelPaese that is completely Italian, supported by the Italian capital.
